We have over the years ,used many different types of timber , pallets and scaffoldboards even beams that have been thrown out due to woodworm.

With it becoming increasingly expensive and difficult to find original flooring we have taken the time and experience to source alternative options.

New modern timber board just does't have the character of old wood.

​

Our search turned up the humble scaffoldboard, cast aside, as Health & Safety dictate that any damaged boards cannot be used on construction sites.

​

This is where Bon-Bois comes in we purchase the boards and allow them to dry naturally they are then machined and sanded down,

​

Any splits, cracks, saw marks or hammer marks, in fact any marks that are on the wood , are left.

​

Once the finish is applied these marks give each plank an individual finish just like you would expect from original timber.
